It’s pretty rare that a utopian or paradisaical situation just appears out of nowhere. An abundance of work, preparation and thought must facilitate both its creation and its maintenance. There are always tasks to perform and battles to fight on behalf of what is good; and as we humans tend to be resistant to change, progress can be frustratingly slow. But the idea of a better world is so vivid and so profound that one instinctively feels it worth striving for.
