Naming information
Name origin: Greek.
Mythology: Aglaia was one of the three Kharites (Graces), along with Thalia and Euphrosyne, and the goddess of beauty, splendour, glory and adornment. She was the wife of the god Hephaistos and the mother of four younger Kharites named Eukleia (Good-Repute), Euthenia (Praise), Eupheme (Eloquence) and Philophrosyne (Welcome). Aglaia was also named Kharis and Kale (Beauty).
