Naming information
Name origin: Greek Oreiad nymph.
Mythology: Rhodope was a queen of Thrace and the wife of Haemus. The pair grew hubristic, comparing themselves to Zeus and Hera, and were both turned into mountains as punishment. The Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria and Greece are named after her.

Summary and references
Holmes offers the symbolism of the mountain as a challenge in the pursuit of a goal[1]. I’d suggest also self-regard, and a sense of superiority born of privilege, which may be corrected by experience; the discovery or recognition of one’s limitations.
